National Digital Payments Network Sdn Bhd (ndpx) is a payment system operator approved by the Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB). ndpx owns and operates tarus, the national instant payment system that enables individuals, businesses, and financial institutions to transact safely and efficiently as part of Brunei's digital economy.
Established on 17 November 2022, ndpx was founded with the mission to advance digital payments in Brunei and the vision to empower Brunei Darussalam's economy through innovative and inclusive payment solutions.
ndpx's shareholders are Baiduri Bank, Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD), Darussalam Assets, and Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB), reflecting strong collaboration between key financial institutions and national stakeholders to strengthen the country's digital payment infrastructure.
